Amos C. Barnhart

Amos Charles Barnhart, age 48, of Liberal, MO passed at his home Monday, June 17, 2013. Amos was born October 16, 1964 at Fredonia, KS and attended High School at Neodesha, KS.  On May 23, 1992 he married Valerie Ann Provence at Independence, KS and together they raise their son Bradley and his niece Ashlynn.  He worked as a cook at a nursing home, but was best known as a “Jack Of All Trades”.  Amos loved playing the guitar, fishing, collecting coins, making gag gifts, making people laugh and helping others.  Amos also loved to blow things up.!  He was the World’s greatest Husband, Dad, Uncle,  Brother & Friend. Amos is survived by his wife Valerie, his son Bradley and his fiancée Kimberly Smith,  his niece Ashlynn, mother Patricia Studebaker of Neodesha KS, brother David Barnhart of Neodesha KS, sister Kathy Barks of Tyro KS, one nephew Cyle, three neices Brittany,  Mindy, Holly and many friends. Preceding him in death were his grandparents, and a brother Jimmy Barnhart. A private funeral service has been planned and the family can be contacted for information.
