Allene Marie Phipps

 
Allene Marie Phipps, age 86, of Lamar, Missouri passed away March 14, 2024, at St. Luke's Nursing Center in Carthage, Missouri.
 
Allene was born May 3, 1937 in Lamar, MO., to Lester Soloman Braker and Fern Etta (Baker) Braker. On January 14, 1955, Allene married Arthur Dale Phipps in Barton County, Missouri, he preceded her in death on October 5, 1997.
 
Allene was a homemaker, who took immense joy in caring for her family. 

Survivors include one son, Anthony (Henri) Phipps of Carthage; two daughters, Myra (Jason) Percy of Carthage, and Kay Timmons of Lamar; one daughter-in-law, Margaret Phipps; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Allene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dale; one son, Jeff Phipps; one son-in-law, Tim Timmons; and two sisters, Lavon Forste and Susan Pottorf.
 
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 18, 2024, at Daniel Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., prior to the service.
